On March 8, 2018 VOLVO China key suppliers spring summit has held successfully in our company. General manager of Hefei Risever Mr. Lai Yongbing, vice President of VOLVO global sourcing Mr. O'Dea Sean, vice President of Asia Pacific procurement Mr.Jeong Daeseung, China purchasing vice President Mr. Liu Luke and others from VOLVO China 15 key suppliers, almost 30 top leaders attended the meeting.
 
In the conference, VOLVO China procurement lead Mr. Philip Wang gave a report of Chinese key supplier quality performance. First analyzed from the perspectives of defect, 5M, then shared the experience on how to achieve the quality target of zero defect, at last put forward the standard work validation, strengthen process audit, as well as promote the fool-proofing tooling and other improving advice. Continued the general managers from kunshan, Shandong, Jiangyin and other 10 VPS suppliers showed us the cases on process, quality, cost and improve one by one on the 2017 annual lean production work report.
 
In the afternoon, vice President of China sourcing Mr. Liu Luke has summarized current China delivery situation and put forward the valuable suggestions for specific problems. In addition, in order to deal with the current production situation, suppliers and VOLVO team members brainstorm together to conduct with the quality, delivery and cost, strive to achieve low cost with high quality and on time delivery. Next is the site visit, company culture, equipment management, and independent lean improvement on site have shown our Risever's core values of pursuing lean and continuous improvement, also has won the praise from VOLVO customers and suppliers. Meeting in the end, the VOLVO China lean production lead -Mr. Ren DF announced the 2017 annual comprehensive performance of VPS and held a ceremony. Awarded the Lean Production Progress the Fastest Suppliers and Best Delivery Improve Supplier titles to three suppliers. While our Risever has won the title of Best Lean to Improve Supplier with the VPS score of 2.23.
